EXPLORING THE BOUNDLESS WORLD OF LAPITEC: A SYMPOSIUM RECAP

At Marble Unlimited, we recently had the pleasure of hosting a dynamic symposium dedicated to the versatile possibilities offered by Lapitec. This Fabricator Symposium wasn't just about showcasing a product; it was a deep dive into the innovative fabrication and installation techniques that Lapitec brings to the table. The event was not only informative but also a testament to the growing recognition of Lapitec as a pioneering material.

One of the highlights of the symposium was the recognition by the BRE (Building Research Establishment) of Lapitec as a new material category. This acknowledgment underscores Lapitec's position as the only true Sintered-Stone in the market, setting it apart from conventional options as porcelain and engineered quartz. Moreover, Lapitec's unique feature of containing ZERO SILICA addresses a pressing concern among fabricators and the built community regarding occupational health. We emphasized the importance of education on proper safety measures, including wearing appropriate PPE, ensuring proper ventilation, and using water during fabrication.

Despite a minor hiccup with the projector, the symposium was a resounding success. A few minutes of delay didn't deter us; we rallied and delivered an engaging and insightful session. With over 50 enthusiastic attendees, the event buzzed with energy and interaction. Questions flowed freely, demonstrating a keen interest in Lapitec's fabrication techniques and installation methodologies.

Our Slab Showroom provided a visual feast, showcasing Lapitec's stunning range of slabs. Attendees were particularly intrigued by Lapitec's ability to mimic natural stone in both appearance and fabrication. The discussion also delved into distinguishing Lapitec from other materials like porcelain and engineered quartz, especially concerning exterior applications.
